Admission Bulletin

Applications are invited in the printed form, for admission in I.A/I.SC/I.Com 1st year for the session 2019-2020.

General Rules for Admission

  1. The application forms duly filled in should be submitted along with the attested copy of the qualifying exam and other testimonials on or before the last date fixed by the college.
  2. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the college notice board after justified and rigorous process of scrutiny.
  3. The selection list will be final and no enquiries and/or objections will be entertained in connection with the part of the selected candidates.
  4. The colleges reserve every right to cancel the admission in case of any misappropriation or misconduct with the part of the selected candidates.
  5. Selected candidates are required to collect Registration forms form the counter and submit at the same time of admission along with the admission charges and the following documents:
    1. Originals School/School Leaving Certificates with a photocopy of the same.
    2. Photocopies of Mark sheet & Admit Card.
    3. Original Migration Certificate (In case of candidates from the other State/Boards).
  6. Selected candidates, belonging to Scheduled to Cast, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes, are required to submit the Xerox copy of their caste certificate along with original income certificate. In case of non-availability of any of the said certificates, the application of the concerned students will not be forwarded to the welfare Dept. for grant of financial help from the Govt. and he/she will have to pay the tuition fee. No such certificates will be accepted after the admission.
  7. After admission every Student will get Money Receipt, Fee Card, Identity Card, Routine and Library Card.

Fines

The College Tuition Fee and other charges will be accepted as per the schedule mentioned above form 1st to 25th of every month. After the expiry of this date a late fine of RS 1/- per day will be charged. If the fee remains unpaid for three months, the name of the defaulter students will be struck-off from the college rolls. Re-admission may be granted on payment of restoration fee which is equal to one month’s tuition fee. No application to waive the fines will be entertained.

Changes of combination of subject or faculty are allowed within one month from the date of commencement of classes on payment of Rs.200/- (for change in subject) and Rs.300/- (for change in faculty). No change will be allowed after 30 days of commencement of classes.

 

Admission Pattern

The College imparts teaching of intermediate courses in Arts, Commerce and Science faculties with recognition from Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi.

  • Students passing their Matriculation/Secondary Examination or equivalent are eligible to apply for admission in first year of intermediate Art/Science/Commerce.
  • After clearing their first year through examination the students are allowed to take admission in intermediate second/year.
  • Selection and Admission will be done purely on merit basis and a list on the basis of percentage of marks will be displayed on college notice board and college website on the fixed date.

I.A (Intermediate in Arts)

A.    COMPULSORY LANGUAGE
100 Marks
Select any one of the following:  
i.      English Core 
ii.      Hindi ‘A’ (For Hindi Students) 
iii.      Hindi ‘B’ + Matribhasa (Urdu/Bangla/ Oriya/Alt. English)

Select any one from the following Elective Language not taken earlier as Compulsory: Hindi/English/Bangla/Urdu/Oriya.

 Communicative English

A Course in Communicative English has been offered by the Language Resource Center. Using the newly established Lingua Lab., the Course aims at improving the spoken and written English of intermediate students. The syllabus and timing module is specially designed for students taking admission in I.A/I.SC/I.COM. The course fee is very reasonable and hence it is strongly advised to the students of I.A/I.SC/I.COM., to take admission in the said course. (Information and Forms are available at the counter).
