Rules and Regulations

In order to foster a harmonious atmosphere in the campus and to ensure a peaceful academic environment, the college strictly adheres to some fundamental principles and expects that the students will abide by the rules and regulations devised by the college:

  1. Any indiscipline or misconduct and disruptive activities on part of the students will be strictly dealt with.
  2. Loitering during the college hours and congregating in the corridors is strictly prohibited.
  3. Students are not allowed to stand in front of/ near a class room when a teacher is engaging the class.
  4. Sent up / Promotional tests are held on regular basic and students must appear in such examinations.
  5. It is expected from the students that they will be regular in their classes. 75% attendance is compulsory for students to fill up the examination form of the Jharkhand Academic Council. No special classes will be arranged to make up for the shortage in attendance.
  6. Every student of the College is provided with an identity card at the time of admission. Students must keep their Identity Card with them while in the campus. NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE COLLEGE CAMPUS WITHOUT IDENTITY & FEE CARD. The College authorities may demand their identity card as and when required. In case of damage or loss, new identity card will be issued to the student only after clearance by the Disciplinary Committee. For the Re-issue of identity card a Student has to deposit Rupees 50/- only.
  7. No society, association, union or club will be formed in the name of the college without the permission of the Principal.
  8. No meeting shall be convened and no person shall be invited to address any meeting without the prior permission of the principal.
  9. Students are not allowed to participate in any political or religious activities in the college campus or outside in the name of the college. The violation of this rule invites strict disciplinary action.
  10. Students are not permitted to collect money or any other donation inside or outside the campus in the name of the college.
  11. Chewing of tobacco, paan masala and gutkha is strictly prohibited in the campus.
  12. Students are supposed to show due respect, courtesy and consideration to their teachers and other college staff. They must maintain s feeling of compassion and brotherhood towards their fellow students.
  13. Original School / College leaving Certificates, deposited at the time of admission will not be returned. Hence, the students are advised to keep sufficient number of photocopies of such certificates.
  14. Character and Provisional Certificates may be issued on payment of Rs. 50/- only.
  15. CLC & TC will be issued on payment of Rs.250/only. In case of theft or loss, a Duplicate CLC & TC will be issued only after presentation of an AFFIDAVIT issued by the Notary on payment of Rs.300/-. CLC & TC will be issued after a week from the date of application.
  16. Students have to produce identity card, Admit Card, Fee Card and other relevant testimonials at the time of applying for any certificate.
  17. Strict Disciplinary action, to the extent of expulsion from the college, may be taken against a student who does not abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the college authorities.
  18. Any legal matter related to the college will be dealt within the jurisdiction of Jamshedpur Courts only.
  19. The college administration discourages the use of cell phones in the campus. However, mobile phones may be used under critical situations of emergency. The students are not allowed to use cell phones in classrooms and corridors. It can be used in the courtyard, common rooms and canteen. Students are expected to keep their cell phones on silent mode and they may take calls only when urgent. Headphones are not allowed and students shall not capture any video or photo inside the campus. Playing videos or music on cell phones is not allowed. Any violation of these norms will lead to stringent action.
